Chicken tagine with preserved lemon

    ingredients

  • 1 chicken ready to cook
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 Belazu preserved lemon (half to cook and half to serve)
  • 1 pinch Sofra Safflower
  • 3 tablespoons Nomade chicken tajine mixed spices
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Ouazzania olive oil

Preparation

1. Cut the chicken into pieces.

2. In a Tajine, mix the chicken pieces, chopped onions, half the preserved lemon and and 3 tablespoon chicken tagine mixed spices and 3 tablespoons of olive oil.

3. Cover and cook for 10 min in a medium heat.

4. Add one cup of water to the mixture, then cover and simmer for a further 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.

5. Serve the chicken hot and garnish with slices of preserved lemon
