Moroccan Pancakes (Baarir)

    ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 500g Semolina
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 sachet brewer’s yeast
  • Salt
  • 4 glasses of lukewarm water

Preparation

1. Place all of the ingredients into a large bowl and blend using a whisk

2. Cover and set aside for 2 hours.

3. In a crepe pan, pour a little bit of oil and when the pan is hot add a ladleful of the mixture.

4. Cook the crepe for about 1 minute. When removing them from the pan, take care not to overlap them.

5. Serve with Nomade Moroccan chutney (Figs & Orange blossom) and ground Byblos almonds on the side
