Preheat oven first
1. Soak the raisins in orange flower water for 10 minutes and then drain.
2. In a large bowl, beat the 6 eggs and mix in the sugar, cooking oil, brewer’s yeast, sesame seeds, almonds and soaked raisins.
3. Add to the mixture 2 tablespoon of orange flower water and flour and mix again.(Something about consistency of dough)
4. Cover the dough and leave to rest for 2 hours.
5. Preheat the oven to 180 °C,
6. At the same time, knead the dough to soften it and shape it into orange sized balls.
7. Flatten the balls onto a floured surface and roll them out into little loaves that are 20cm long and 2cm thick and 4 cm wide.
8. Place the loaves on a buttered and floured baking sheet and then brush them with egg yolk
9. Bake for 25 min
10. Remove from the oven, transfer onto a rack to cool
11. Cut the loaves into ½ cm thick slices.
12. Bake them again for 15 min
Store in airtight container… for up to a month
